Yay! Right back at you, my love! Thank you for being my favorite Substacker, my supporter, my friend, and soon-to-be podcast buddy. I can’t wait to create more magic together in 2025! Here’s to clapping ten thousand times for our 30-minute podcast and laughing more than actually talking—it's going to be a blast 😂🎙️
I only have you to thank Tuğba! ✨ Thank you for being such a role model, amazing friend and for inspiring me. I am so excited for what we will make happen next year 🩷
Congratulations on a whopper year! You should be so proud of everything you’ve achieved…look how many people have loved and connected with your writing and how many people you’ve inspired (🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️) . Can’t wait to see what you achieve in 2025! 🌟
So glad Oklou and Charli made it on your list. I unfortunately was too late to get a ticket to see Oklou live in Berlin… also loving your movie recs. I’ll check those out when I invest in a projector next month :)
I also missed Oklou tickets 🥲 Charli was my number one artist on Spotify this year, no surprises there. I can highly recommend a projector - got one a few years ago and never going back!
Thanks a million, Kayla! I enjoyed writing the sleepovers piece so much 🥹 it's actually one of my favourites. So glad you found it as nostalgic as I did!
My favorite Substack this year, I look forward to every post and feel inspired after reading. Thank you for taking this journey with all of us, and thank you for the recommendations! That onion recipe is on my list of things I will conquer in 2025.
This is such a wonderful way to end 2024! Thanks for all your shares - I am so glad you found Middle Kids. I saw them live down here in NZ this year and were one of the best live performances I have ever seen.
P.S. sooo much love / aroha to you, Caoilainn, for sharing my Substack on this post. You are such a sweet and supportive soul (and my fave person to read on Substack!) - I hope we cross paths someday IRL.
Ahhh amazing that you've seen them live! I will defo keep an eye out for a show in Berlin, hopefully they'll make it to Europe next year. I enjoyed reading your Substack so much this year Claudia, and totally agree - hope we can meet in real life one day! ❤️
What a year, really! So happy to be a part it and so looking forward to the next one! I'm so thankful for all the amazing funny chats and meet ups this year, all your recommendations and support have been so inspiring for my own little creative journey (thanks for the shoutout 🧡). Enjoy the well deserved break to get some air and can't wait to see IDER next year! 🪅
When I saw the first picture, I thought, 'Ah, someone else appreciates those little squares of light.' It feels like a good metaphor for your work - small but luminous, and framed just so. Thank you for the care you put into this. Enjoy some well-earned rest and see you next year 🌬️🗓️
I liked the female representation and I appreciate the creativity and the vibes (not much of a ballad gal myself). My taste in music is a bit odd, so I had high hopes for how you described Yaedes, and loved the title 'You don't know how to drive' which reminded me of Marina and the Diamonds.
haha I gravitate massively towards female vocals, not intentional but it's just what I seem to prefer. I should have probably included Sam Fender, listened to him loads this year - he has such an incredible voice and songwriting ability!

We need to have a convo about projectors 🤣 as I want to get one but not sure which one
I have a ViewSonic, not even sure if it’s a very good one tbh. But it has been totally solid the last 4 years 👏🏻
Thank you so much for loving my newsletter and making a space for me at the table 🫂💙 I hope 2025 is full of everything you ask for and more 🪄🎀🎄
Thanks Emily 🩷 can’t wait to see where you take Pomelo in 2025!
The Anxious Generation is my book number 1 in 2024
I’ve really enjoyed reading your newsletter this year! I especially loved the nostalgic piece on girlhood and sleepovers. Hilary Duff 4eva 🫶

Thanks so much for your kind words Javier 💜 all the best to you
Congratulations on your growth this year 🎊 the idea of a Substack meetup seems so cool 🥹
Thank you 💜✨ I really recommend checking out if there is one in your city or a city close by! You can always start one if it doesn’t exist 😉
Happy Holidays! Love the newsletter and glad you are writing for us all
Thank you so much for reading 💜
oooooh interesting recommendations here! I clicked on all the blog links, and I am about to put on my headset and start listening. :)
Let me know what you think Barbs! I’m curious to see if we share the same taste in music 😎

I'll look him up!
Seventeen Going Under is his best song IMO - the video is also great!
Also, I immediately subscribed to Chaos and Awe and set up a date with Claudia for an undefined future XD
I love this 🥹🥹🥹
